Weekly Chapter 4/4
“Huh!”
The red light revealed the face of the man Jeong Hyunsu had seized by the neck. This man was not the Great Prince. They had been tricked.
“Choi Youngheung?”
When the black smoke clouded his vision, he understood he would meet his end here.
Jeong Hyunsu, who was furious, threw Youngheung. Then he ran in the opposite direction.
Who was responsible for this fire? Did Jihak try to kill them all? But Choi Youngheung was also meant to be at risk.
Jeong Hyunsu fled the fire, shielding his nose. Suddenly, he heard something was cut. This was Jeong Hyunsu’s last day.
The last thing he saw was a man dressed in a bluish violet robe with a bloody sword in his hand. The man looked at the burning place with a cold smile.
“I said don’t underestimate Jihak.”
Warrior with bows appeared. They had shot the fire arrows.
They were private soldiers under Seogyeong, Jihak’s uncle.
“Wongun’s military force has gathered! We should avoid them.”
“It appears that the Great Prince has mobilized the military force. Maybe it’s a trap!”
Seogyeong looked around.
“He wants to play to the end…”
The screams echoed in the sky. Seogyeong smiled.
“I’m going to the capital city. I have to stop his game.”

“No one emerged!”
They watched the building consumed by flames. Despite pouring water on it several times, the fire was too intense. Those who ventured into the burning structure fled with their hands raised.
“I think they’ll all burn to death!”
“Oh my God!”
Heein and Eunha dashed into the crowd. Eunha glanced up at the burning building. Heein, who was supporting her, shook her head with a pale face.
“Probably not. I hope the Great Prince is safe.”
Eunha felt chills at those words. It was one day to the seventh day. Word of the sudden fire in Harye spread quickly.
People observed the blaze with worry.
“Where are you headed?”
“Let me go!”
“You’ll die!”
“You fool! Let me go!”
Eunha averted her gaze to where the commotion occurred. An old man was grappling with those attempting to restrain him.
The old man with the bandaged ears was Kim. When he dropped the luggage he was carrying, the uniform inside fell to the ground. People stepped on the uniform.
Kim vanished in an instant, leaping into the blazing inferno. Eunha shrugged off Heein’s hand, which was gripping her shoulder, and sprinted.
“No! Old man!”
A familiar voice began to be heard beyond the wall. Eunha, who raised her head, got goosebumps all over her body.
The voices pleading for her life were all familiar, and among them was Gari’s voice.
“Please save the people! There are people here! Help!”
Eunha pointed to the wall. Tears covered her face. Her whole body trembled. Eunha pounded the wall with her small fist and shouted to those inside.
“I will save you! I will save you!”
They ran towards Eunha, and she pounded on the wall to reassure them.
Eunha didn’t realize she hurt her hand.
Suddenly, someone grabbed her wrist.
Eunha looked up. The man embraced her trembling form.
“I told you not to harm yourself.”
Relief appeared on her face. She had longed for his voice for a long time.
“Jihak…”
He kissed her injured hand.
“Don’t worry. I have no plans to leave them behind either.”
Jihak asked Heein to look after Eunha, then covered his nose. It was only then that Eunha realized that his body was wet.
The wet Shadows lined up around Jihak, then began to jump the wall. The sound of people exclaiming could be heard amidst the chaos.
