Weekly Chapter 3/3
Jihak’s smile was cold and calculated.
“The Crown Prince must be found. Ensure that the Shadows remain close to Eunha.”

Eunha finally reached the clinic, where the women assisting the western doctors immediately approached her. She greeted them with a warm smile.
Clad in a navy blue jeogori, Eunha appeared every bit the elegant lady.
Her days of wearing men’s clothing were now just a distant memory.
“Why are you here today?”
One of the women asked.
“I want to see Robin,” Eunha replied.
“He is very dependable.”
Jihak, still at the entrance of the clinic, had no plans of leaving.
He had accompanied her because of her disturbing dreams. Though he appeared calm, the patients did not perceive him that way.
The Great Prince had once instilled fear in Harye. His brutal actions had led to his deposition as Crown Prince.
This was the reason people feared Jihak.
However, rumors circulated after his wedding that Jihak had changed. People were astonished to learn that his wife was of lower social status.
Once Eunha dried her hands, she pulled out a book. She had brought books for the children. Robin had taken in orphans, and besides providing for them, he aimed to educate them in various skills.
He had established a school to teach them. Of course, there were objections. Some people in Harye regarded Western doctors as monsters and refused to approach them.
It was natural for people to fear the unknown. Eunha herself had been fearful when she first met Jihak, thinking only of escape.
“He is intelligent. I believe it would be beneficial to send him to a private school.”
“You know, we barely have enough to cover my father-in-law’s medical expenses. We can hardly make ends meet. This is sufficient.”
After expressing her gratitude, she left with the book in her arms.
Finally, Jihak stepped into the clinic.
“Honestly, I can’t imagine how people manage here without you.”
Despite the coldness in his voice, his eyes remained warm.
“They’ll probably manage fine without me.”
As he leaned closer, their noses touched, and he clicked his tongue while wrapping his arms around Eunha’s waist, causing her to step back in surprise.
“Don’t be mischievous, Jihak.”
“Jihak?”
Seeing Jihak raise his eyebrows, Eunha quickly corrected herself.
“Husband. But you’re acting really strange today.”
“It seems you still don’t know me well. I don’t want to let you out of my sight.”
“I understand.”
Upon hearing that the Great Prince had arrived, the children gathered at the front door, peeking out to see them.
He longed to kiss her, but refrained under the children’s watchful eyes.
The children scattered when they made eye contact with him.
“I have an important place to visit today. Make sure you get back before dark.”
Eunha’s heart quickened.
“Where are you going?”
Eunha’s eyes were filled with worry. The uncertainty lingering in the air.
