Weekly Chapter 2/3
Her eyes reflected her worry. Although the treatment for his blindness appeared to be working, Eunha still couldn’t shake her concerns.
Jihak gently caressed her cheek before kneeling on one knee. This was a familiar scene to Eunha, though it made those nearby blush.
“Please, get up quickly.”
“I have a message for the baby. Your father will be late tonight, so don’t trouble your mother; sleep peacefully. I’d appreciate it.”
“I feel embarrassed.”
His smile, as radiant as the midday sun, spread across his face. Her cheeks turned red. Finally, Jihak stood up.
“I’ll be waiting for you.”
She felt a pang of regret as he withdrew his warm hand. She walked towards the children.
Robin, who had been observing from a distance, approached Jihak.
As the Great Prince glanced at Eunha, he said,
[I have something useful for you.]

Yongi noticed acorns larger than a finger among the fallen leaves. Smiling, she picked up several, putting some in her pocket and tossing others.
The women who had come out did the same, ensuring the animals on the back mountain would have enough food to survive the long winter.
“Oh my goodness. Let’s take a break.”
Hearing Chunbae’s words, Yongi wiped the sweat from her forehead.
“You can rest. I’m fine; my knees are still strong.”
“Why are you so stubborn?”
“Once Eunha has given birth, it would be good for her to eat some jelly.”
“Then it looks like we’ll need to get some seaweed first!”
“They promised to send me seaweed from Airi Town. Don’t worry.”
“That’s a blessing.”
Yongi nodded energetically. Everything had changed dramatically. Past events now seemed like a distant dream. She was living happily with her sister, who was about to get married.
The changes were astounding.
However, she had come to terms with reality. She knew she wasn’t suitable for the warrior and shouldn’t misconstrue his kindness as affection.
While gathering acorns, she noticed reptilian eyes among the fallen leaves.
A snake!
Yongi was startled, but she was aware that snakes appeared in autumn. She stepped back and pointed at the snake with a long branch.
The snake raised its head. Yongi didn’t back down; she waved the branch.
The snake slowly changed direction, likely because the branch scratched its body. It slithered away in the opposite direction from Yongi.
Yongi sat down to calm herself. There might be more snakes around.
As she stood up to gather more acorns, she heard a groan of pain. Sighing deeply, she approached the sound cautiously.
“Stop.”
A sharp sword was pointed at Yongi, startling her.
“I thought someone was injured here. I am just an ordinary woman.”
The man’s eyes shone.
“I have a favor to ask. Doctor, doctor…”
Before finishing his sentence, the man collapsed.
Yongi quickly examined him.
He was wearing an elegant robe, looking like a high-class man. His pale skin, delicate hands, and refined features seemed familiar to her.
“Wake up!”
