Weekly Chapter 3/3
“I believe I have to share what transpired.”
“Yes. Be cautious, sister.”
Eunha quickly removed her apron and exited the clinic with Gari.
The patient was located in the furthest part of the clinic, a place surrounded by a wide plain where those with ill intentions could not easily hide.
Whenever Yongi felt anxious, she would come to this place. She no longer needed the blue sea for comfort, as she found solace in the golden plains.
After washing her hands in the basin, she began removing the man’s robe, setting aside his shabby clothes, and opening the window to let a pleasant breeze cool his body.
She wiped his face with a soft cotton cloth, and as she did so, she noticed his breathing slowly starting to calm. The tension in his body seemed to ease with each gentle stroke, bringing a sense of relief to her.
“I think itβs best to keep your identity hidden.”
Yongi truly believed this man would bring misfortune.
She took out the jade emblem she had hidden and placed it under the man’s clothes, not wanting anyone else to see it. It was the emblem of the Crown Prince.
“Brother, big brother…”
She clasped the hand of the man who seemed to be in a troubled sleep. Tears silently flowed from his tightly closed eyes, each drop reflecting the turmoil he was experiencing in his unconscious state.
“Big brother…”

A majestic hawk with broad, powerful wings soared gracefully above, carving elegant circles in the sky before descending to land with precision on Yuljae’s outstretched arm.
Its sharp scream resonated through the mountain range, a primal cry that echoed and re-echoed off the rugged peaks. The rhythmic thundering of horses’ hooves grew louder, then suddenly ceased as they reached the base of Uryongsan Mountain, the boundary of Harye.
“A letter?”
“Yes, My Lord.”
Yuljae carefully untied the letter from the hawk’s leg, his hands steady despite the anticipation. The sender was a Shadow who had always remained close to Eunha. As Yuljae unfolded the message, his eyes trembled with curiosity as he read the unexpected news.
“There was a disturbance at the clinic. Eunha will visit your sister’s house.”
“Sister?”
“Yes.”
“How odd.”
Eunha visited Heein daily to greet her.
“Why would she visit my sister again?”
“I don’t think you should worry.”
“Agreed. The priority is to find any trace of the Crown Prince.”
“Understood!”
As Jihak dismounted his horse, fallen leaves crunched underfoot, quickly accumulating around him. It was the season when leaves fell in abundance, making it easy for any traces to be concealed beneath their blanket.
Jihak found himself deep in thought after his meeting with Robin for a diagnosis. Robin, who had committed to checking Jihak’s eyesight on a monthly basis, posed a probing question,
βWhy didn’t you become King? You could have safeguarded your wife from a higher position.
