Chapter 11. Let’s Finish What We Started (3)

“Do you still like me?”
The astonishment on his face quickly morphed into outrage.
“Cut the crap. Why are you bringing up ancient history?”
It was one of his most humiliating memories. Whether it was some genetic trait passed down the family line, both Kim Moran and Lee Chayoung were stunningly beautiful as children. Every time they met, his heart would race uncontrollably.
His sharp-eyed mother had noticed and, unfortunately, shared it with Chayoung’s mother, which led to Chayoung himself inevitably finding out. It was the beginning of his unfortunate history as a ‘face enthusiast’ and a memory he desperately wanted to erase.
“You were pretty cute back then too.”
“Screw you.”
“Though your mouth was just as foul.”
Returning his attention to his phone, Gyuha tried to ignore him. Despite his annoyed expression, his heart was pounding uncontrollably. Though he dismissed it as ancient history, the truth was that Chayoung’s face still had an effect on him.
Sharp, single-lidded eyes, a chiseled nose, and neatly defined lips made up a face that could steal anyone’s breath. If Chayoung were even 10 centimeters shorter, Gyuha might have swallowed his pride and chased after him long ago.
Chayoung’s casual flipping through the album was interrupted by yet another offhand comment.
“Are you good with pain?”
“What are you talking about now?”
“Piercings.”
The album page had landed on a photo of Gyuha at his high school graduation. He wore a scowling expression, holding a bouquet and diploma, with earrings glinting in his ears.
“Bet that hurt when you got them.”
“It’s been so long, I don’t remember.”
The piercings had been an act of teenage rebellion, done at a local shop where he’d alternated between pretending to be tough and whining. He saw no need to share the details.
What was bothering him more now was the proximity of their seating arrangement. Ever since that vivid dream, having Chayoung next to him felt unnervingly awkward.
“Why don’t you leave?”
“I’m staying the night.”
At that, Gyuha shot him a sharp glance.
“Why the hell are you staying here?”
“I’m going hiking with your dad tomorrow.”
“Hiking?”
“Yeah. It came up earlier, and I couldn’t say no.”
The irritation on Gyuha’s face was replaced with reluctant amusement.
“Better be ready. He’s like a flying squirrel in the mountains.”
For a man of his build, his father was unnervingly agile on hikes. Hiking itself was something Gyuha never understood—climbing up just to come back down seemed like unnecessary suffering.
“You should’ve found an excuse to bail… Ah!”
A sudden touch on his earlobe startled him, causing him to drop his phone. His entire arm broke out in goosebumps. Realizing what had happened, his face twisted into an angry scowl.
“What the hell are you doing?”
“I just felt like it.”
Whatever the reason, he didn’t want to know. Instinct told him it wouldn’t be anything good. Unfortunately, he couldn’t stop Chayoung’s teasing.
“You really liked it when I sucked on your ears, didn’t you?”
“…!”
“You clenched and bucked so hard; even I got excited.”
The rising heat in his neck was unmistakable. Flustered, Gyuha lashed out.
“Get out, you bastard.”
He tried to push him off with his foot, but Chayoung didn’t budge. It was like trying to move a rock.
“Didn’t you hear me? Get o—”
Before he could finish, his ankle was caught, and he found himself flipped over. The sensation of something pressing against his rear made him freeze in shock.
“Are you insane? Get off me—mmmph!”
A large hand clamped over his mouth, and warm breath tickled his ear.
“Shh, don’t make a scene. What if someone walks in?”
The thought of his family catching them like this was mortifying. He stopped struggling, which only encouraged Chayoung. With the ease of someone used to having his way, he pulled down Gyuha’s pants.
“I’m not going all the way. Just a little grinding.”
“Ugh…!”
Even with minimal effort, the friction from Chayoung’s hand quickly stirred an unwelcome response. His lower half betrayed him as it stiffened, drawing a smug comment.
“Still so easy to get going.”
“… Shut up.”
Chayoung’s smirk deepened as he watched Gyuha squirm. For all his protests, his body clearly didn’t hate it. It was laughably weak to pleasure.
Before he could protest further, a knock came at the door.
“Can I come in?”
