Chapter 142. Let’s Date (12)
Weekly Chapter 1/3
“It can’t be public…”
“Fine, a secret relationship.”
She nodded at the word ‘secret’. She didn’t understand why he had made that wish when it was no different than it had been until now.
“Deal? We’re dating?”
“Yes.”
Lee-Seob asked eagerly as if he had waited for this moment,
“Then call me by my name, forget about the title Director. Or better yet, ‘Honey’.”
Minkyung laughed.
‘Honey?’
“Try it.”
“Mr. Tae Lee-Seob.”
“Ooh.”
He shook his head.
“That’s scary. Just use my given name.”
“Lee-Seob?”
He nodded reluctantly, not fully satisfied. She pressed closer to him. Although there was no alcohol in the ice cream, she felt warm and unsteady, like she was drunk.
Everything was going smoothly. Tae Lee-Seob was gaining the chairman’s trust, and he had dispelled the doubts of executives about his capabilities and commitment.
TK Fashion’s stock price was at an all-time high and its recognition, especially in China, was skyrocketing. Minkyung would receive a special promotion, which would mean an important step in her professional career.
‘Why do I feel so restless and anxious then?’
She wanted to embrace him as quickly as possible. To feel his large, firm body surround her, to quell this anxiety and ignite her excitement until she was lost in euphoria. To cry out, cling, and collapse as if she were not herself.

In a luxurious room overlooking the night view, Minkyung wished he would treat her more harshly.
She held on as best she could, but eventually broke down and screamed. However, the endless unease wasn’t quelled. She felt like a ship adrift, unable to find dry land.
“Please don’t stop, don’t stop…. Please.”
She begged between moans. While she lay face down on the bed, he thrust like a beast at her raised butt. She shattered into pieces. She desperately wanted him to kiss her tenderly, but she couldn’t lift her head. The sheets were soaked with sweat, fluids and tears.
“Minkyung.”
She exhaled softly. He turned her over and made her lie on her back. As she tried to turn, he held her firmly and grabbed her chin to force her to look into his eyes.
“Say my name.”
“Lee-Seob.”
He tightened her chin to fix her gaze.
“Again.”
“Lee-Seob.”
He hugged her tightly, kissing her deeply. Under his body, she felt protected from the world. She closed her eyes, trying to record every detail in her memory.
‘If only I could keep this sensation, this moment, inside me forever…’
She focused on her senses.
‘I think I love him. I think I’ve always loved him.’
Love had always been difficult for her to define due to its ambiguous nature, but she understood it now. Love itself was a set of contradictions.
“Lee-Seob.”
His name filled her mouth. She swallowed, feeling like her heart had been hopelessly captivated by him. She knew she should not have started this love that would remain imprinted on her soul, locked in her memory, remembered in her dreams and filled with pain when it ended.
Although it was the first day they were officially dating, she could clearly see how their relationship would end.
He removed her hand with which she covered her face, kissing her tenderly. She closed her eyes, not wanting to show any emotion.
